imPress Press-On Manicure by Broadway Nails

A few weeks ago I received the Holiday VoxBox from Influenster.  Inside there were lots of different products.  Everything from gum and makeup to soap.
I have never had a manicure in my life.  I've always wanted one but I can't bring myself to spend that kind of money on my nails.  Even when I was alittle girl though I wanted to get a manicure.  For Christmas and my birthday my aunt would always buy me press on nails.  I loved them!  I'd always open them right away and put them on.  If I was lucky they'd stay on all the way until bedtime.  Then after that all hope was lost.  By the morning I'd have maybe 1 left on, 5 in my bed, and 4 who knows where eaten by the press on nail gnomes.
So when I opened the imPress nails I was WAY skeptical.  I mean, press on nails for adults?  How were they gonna make that work?  I have diapers to change, laundry to do, food to cook, and a dish washer to load.  Not to mention how many times I wash my hands a day.
I went through the nails and picked out the ones that fit my fingers.  I was able to find a perfect fit for each one.  I cleaned my nails with the little cleaning cloth they include.  Then I started applying.  They seemed to stick pretty good.

They were a little long for my taste.  Also, I couldn't effectively change Hayleigh's diaper with the length they were.  I was a little worried about scratching her when I changed her clothes as well.  So I got out the nail clippers and trimmed them just a little bit.  Then they were prefect!  I couldn't wait to show people.

I showed my husband.  He didn't really care.  Madelynn thought they were beautiful!  But Madelynn thinks everything is beautiful.  To get an honest opinion I had to ask my sister-in-law Amy.  She laughed at me for trimming them.  But I think over all she liked them.
I had them on for 3 days!  3 DAYS!  I couldn't and still can't believe it!  They're press on nails and they stayed on that long!  I showed my husband's cousin on the third day.  She was a press on nail fanatic when she was a kid too and couldn't believe it.  On that third day they weren't even falling off.  I took them off myself.  I'm sure they would have lasted at least a week if I had left them on.
I am in love with imPress nails.  They're only $5.99 for solid colors and $7.99 for patterns.  That's less than a fourth of what a good manicure costs.

  1. Since I am a constant nail biter, these would be great for those times I need my hands to look a little more presentable! Thanks for the info!
